The small
school with
big ambitions!

A school small enough to nurture each
child, yet big enough to inspire ambition
and excellence. We do both, and in
beautiful surroundings!

At Shiplake CE Primary
School, our purpose is
to lead, develop, inspire
and educate all our young
community.  We welcome everyone!

Our Vision
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13

The ethos of Shiplake CE Primary School is built upon mutual respect, good behaviour and the pursuit of high academic standards within a Christian and moral culture.

The School encourages the cooperation of each individual to realise their own potential across a broad range of skills, within a happy, motivated and friendly community.
Shiplake C of E Primary School delivers a unique combination of village school atmosphere with high academic achievement, student ambition and educational innovation. We believe all children are individuals and need to be inspired and supported to achieve their best. We make the most of their talents and further develop their learning to become valued members of their community. We are a ‘Voluntary Aided’ School meaning the Church of England maintains an active interest in the school whilst giving overall control to the Local Authority.
