Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, most exams and assessments did not take place in 2019/20 or 2020/21.  As a result of this, the government announced that it would not publish school or college level results data in autumn 2020 or autumn 2021.

Government Funding

Pupil Premium

In addition to general school funding, Shiplake CE Primary School receives a Pupil Premium grant for each child who is entitled to receive Free School Meals or who has been entitled over the last five years, and for any Looked After Children.

Pupil Premium Statement 2021/22  (published November 2021)

The school has a Catch-Up Plan – this is a working document that details how it is supporting pupils following the periods of lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  A copy of this plan is available via the School Office.

PE & Sports Premium for Primary Schools

The school also receives funding via the PE and Sports Premium.  Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.  The funding is based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6.  Here is the report on how we have spent this money.
