Putting Shiplake Primary School’s values into action. Here Year 6 are paying their weekly visit to their Reception Buddies. They chat, read and in this case act out the story of ‘Three Billy Goats Gruff’ with them. Every child in Reception is allocated a Year 6 Buddy. This pastoral role helps them adapt to being in school and they have a ‘ go to’ person in the playground.
