SEND/1:1 Teaching Assistant required for September 2024
19 1/2 hours pw – term time only contract

Are you a compassionate and driven Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs?

We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team, to support children with SEND on an individual and small group basis.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children who have been diagnosed with SEND.  You will be supporting the children on a 1:1 basis, both in and out of the classroom and assisting their academic and social progress.

Closing date :  Midday 10th July 2024 –  interviews to be held 12th July 2024 

However, applications will be reviewed on receipt and interviews may be held earlier.  We reserve the right to close the advert early before 10th July so early application is advised.

Shiplake Church of England Primary School is a popular Voluntary Aided village school in Shiplake which is just outside the town of Henley on Thames.  Little Squirrels@Shiplake Primary  is our on-site nursery, with a roll of 25 children ranging from 2 to 4 years of age.

We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant/EYFS Practitioner (Level 2/3) to join our Little Squirrels team from September 2024.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing effective learning experiences in order to achieve the highest individual standards for all pupils, along with working effectively with our committed staff team. We are a friendly and supportive team with a strong commitment to doing the best we can for everyone associated with our close community. Our staff are committed to working together to achieve the best for our children in order to help them grow and develop into independent young learners.

The post is offered on a term time only basis and the ideal candidate would be able to work 32 ½ hours per week (8.30am to 3.30pm).  However, flexible working options would be considered.

Applications are invited from both experienced and newly qualified EYFS practitioners.
