Diwali celebrations enjoyed by Year 4

We had a wonderful time at our Diwali Celebration on Wednesday which linked in with our RE study of Hinduism.  Year 4 dressed up, gave presentations on aspects of Diwali, performed Bhangra dancing and tried traditional Indian sweets.

Year 4 class and Sasha enjoys Mrs Hanley’s vet presentation!

Year 4 were lucky to have a visit from Mrs Hanley, a local vet, who gave a fascinating talk about the digestive system of a dog. This supported our Science module on Humans and Animals. Sasha, our PAT dog found it very interesting too!!
