Shiplake CE Primary School’s PTFA brings together parents, teachers and friends of the school to run a variety of social events and raise funds for the school.  The events are a great chance for families to get together, have fun and to improve the community feel of the School. Every penny raised by the PTFA goes directly to help the children get the most out of their time at school, being wisely spent on resources and equipment that it would not be possible to purchase out of the main school budget . Each year the PTFA raises funds through events such as the Summer Fayre, Auction of Promises, Family Barbecue, Christmas Fair, School Disco and Movie Night.  Fantastic events like these don’t just happen, but require the input and support of as many parents as possible. If you are up for taking on any of the committee roles, or coordinating an event, or have any other fundraising ideas, we would love to hear from you.  Shiplake Primary needs a PTFA to continue running these events and raising vital funds for our wonderful school and nursery.
