Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM)

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal at lunchtime according to current Government policy.

It’s not dependent on your income, or if you receive any benefits – every child in these classes is eligible to take up the offer.

Please speak with the school office for further information.

If you are in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 you can pay for a school dinner – they are £3.00 a day and payment can be made via your Parentmail account. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch if you don’t want a school dinner.

However, some children whose families are in receipt of the following, may be eligible for free school meals :

  • Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods)
  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
