Just a reminder that Shiplake CE Primary School’s Book Club will be meeting this Thursday (27th February) to discuss the novel by British writer S. F. Said – Varjak Paw. The book was chosen from Mister Bodd’s Tube Map of Books. According to The New York Times the book is ” Dazzling ” , The Sunday Times says ” A beguiling tale that sticks in the memory. The cat’s whiskers”. See what they did there ? I wonder what our Year 5 and 6’s will make of it?
