It’s the start of the new Summer Term on Monday 20th April – the plan so far….

Hello, it’s countdown time till the end of the Easter Holidays and we begin the start of the Summer Term. We hope some of you managed to enjoy the lovely sunny weather despite these rather strange and uncertain times. We’ve loved seeing all that you’ve got up to and hope you’ll continue to email us your pictures to : shiplakenews@shiplake.oxon.sch.uk
We’re all a bit unsure when we’ll all be back together under one roof but until that time comes, we’ll do all we can to make you feel part of one BIG school community.

We’re deliberately not set home learning during the last few weeks to allow your children to relax and for you to not have to oversee their work. But from this Monday (20th April) each Year Group will again be set work by their class teacher. We’ll do our best to carry on making sure it’s fun and engaging for your child to do.
Meanwhile we’ll continue to take advice from the Government, WHO and Public Health England about when they think it safe for your child to be back at Nursery or School.

Katherine Page-Howie and all the staff at Shiplake CE Primary and Shiplake Village Nursery.
